Mitch's still imagery follows a documentary photojournalism style with minimal editing and an acute sense of story.

His work has been published in The Globe and Mail, Canada's National Observer, Explore Magazine and Northern Ontario Travel. His work has also supported stories for non-profit organizations including the Greenbelt Foundation, Green Communities Canada and Earth Rangers.

Mitch's work spans wildlife, people and place. He aims to use his imagery to support visual science communication, expeditions and feature stories with a particular emphasis on the natural world.

He's able to work with long-lenses, craft long exposure shots, document scenes and subjects with drone/aerial photography and work with natural lighting and scenery to create authentic portraits.
